Design is a VIRUS,
Develoing Identity,

Starting to think about shape, colour and font. Trying to keep simplicity key, we are hoping to appeal to a wide audience including; children, students, parents, workers and the older generations. In terms of colour, orange is very bright and positive, automatically appearing quite light-hearted, along side 'Cooper Black' for the text re-inforcing this playful-ness.

In terms of stock, we wanted to keep the whole appearence of the project quite rustic, hence using this cardboard texture as the base of our designs. We feel that posters and flyers hand printed on cardboard lends itself to a very hands on, personal delivery.

It is this hands on approach that we hope to engage our audience through, getting involved with something, doing something new. Cardboard flyers are a bit bulky to carry around in numbers, but in terms of recieving one, the audience are hopefully more likely to respond as it moves away from the average flyer handed out...

The white works really well over the cardboard texture pictured, the only drawback is everything produced would have to be screen printed in order to achieve such true, solid white...
