Once all the lists we up on the wall, it was a case of individually combining ten thoughts from each into ten different approaches that could be taken in response to this project...
• First person stop motion animation walking down old/abandonned trainlines?
• Screenprinting a collection of contours relating to Leeds?
• Collage documenting a series of journeys?
• 3D craft, look at applying linier structure to cardboard in relation to architecture?
• Photograph a series of cues; gigs, supermarkets etc?
•Hand rendered continuous line drawings of faces?
• Bind a book experimenting with contours and mapping?
• Line drawings of local architucture, manipulating it for use with screen and digital print?
• Stencil approach to documenting research into evolution?
• Vinyl cutting, look at common lines in our everyday lives, cut them out?
Narrowing down to three...
• 3D craft, look at applying linier structure to cardboard in relation to architecture?
•Hand rendered continuous line drawings of faces?
• Bind a book experimenting with contours and mapping?
Then to pass my 3 ideas to peer in the class to find out which one stands out most to them...
After recieving them back, my idea of working with cardboard structure and relating it to architecture was the one with the positive feedback, quite pleasing because I feel it could stem into some really interesting work, and move away from looking at 2 dimensional design for a while.
