I made a slight error by initially designing the desk planner to fit an 'A' format, the format I assumed our folders were, untill actually taking a sheet I intended to print on, realising it was a rather unusual scale - 640x540mm.

It was then a case of re-laying out the calendar to make full use of the space availiable on the actual dimensions.

By slimming the width down by two squares completely reworked the overall pattern that made by the weekend periods throughout the year. Although the 'A' format version on the left has a more conforming appearance (pattern wise) I prefer how the new format has the month titles almost running vertically parallel whilst the weekends have a distinct diagonal formation.
