20.5.11

Speaking from experience,
More designs...

Again rethinking layout and composition, reverting back to the more standardized boxes representing each day, although I don't particularly like this method of layout I wanted to give the design some thought as to not dismiss it purely through personal preference.

Again starting out with the basic grid, I wanted to deter from using black outlinesso the first step was filling each cell with a line texture and add a 3pt white boarder to differentiate between days...

Different ways of addressing the months, this time sitting along the bottom. I cut off the top of each month, implying the calendar sections are stemming from each name, still completely legible especially give their context.

Ensuring to fully deliver what I intended the board's function to be, I not only thought about a little LCA logo, but simple vector images of a craft knife, fineliner and rubber to sit on the design reinforcing the idea of using it to draw on, cut on as well as plan on.
