On the whole it was a positive crit today, we had all made significant progress so it was interesting to the different directions and how people had started working with moving image. I had a couple of rendered off videos and after experiments projects to show, and recieved some good pointers to work towards.
∆ Think about 3D elements, moving through levels and changing games
∆ Use of cameras within after effects
∆ Colour, keep a visual consistency throughout idents.
∆ How do you define a retro game, focus down content.
It's always good to recieve positive feedback, but in this stage of the project the harsher the better in my opinion, concepts and ideas need to be strong and peer to peer feedback is always beneficial to me, so long as the group members are all having input. I wanted to pick a few key points to try and elaborate on from this crit and the four bullet points above are the four i want to take forth and apply to my practice
