Speakers.

The first initial experiments into sound as shape. They are based on a pretty well known concept, alot of which I've documented on my context. These cymatic studies are preliminary explorations, hopefully moving onto slow motion versions, really focusing on the compositions formed as the beats play around with the substance. These two use rice and sugar, both of which resulted in some really unique visuals.

The shots here are only side views of the experiment, Matt filmed the plan view and he's yet to upload them, but they will be soon appearing. A number of things are faulty here, the speaker has a dirty chip which is aesthetically disgusting, a slightly grainy image and the saturation of each video is completely different, not that it matters being only preliminary experiments, but they are things to remember to pick up on when filming properly.
