Audacity

For our Cymatic project, Matt and myself are focusing on elctro music to create interesting visuals through a series of digital and physical experiments. We want to start trying to capture small sections of tunes in different ways and bring them together in a set of poster-book responses.

One of the ways we want to capture visuals is by importing each song into a program called 'Audacity', cropping in heavily to a very small section and vectoring the lines created by each individual song. We want to keep constants in our experiments like the time we crop in on each song and for how long. Below is the screen shots of a whole song that gradually zooms in to cover only a minute section, the more focused it gets the more interesting the visual.
