Visual language,3D experimentation,

After becoming truly inspired by the 3D > 2D publication, especially the geometrical montages, I wanted to keep them very much in mind whilst applying my creative hands to corrigated card with an X-acxto knife....

I was cutting out simple trios of triangles, creating multiple shapes much like the ones below...

Apart from the main structure in the middle, all of the shapes consist of 3 simple triangles. Now it was a case of arranging them all together in a big structure...

Although bearing quite an abstract resembalance to some kind of cricket or grasshopper like creature, it was quite a unique structure. The next move was to take some interesting photos from various angles in an effort to go from 3D > 2D, much like the nature of the montages in the book.
