What is a line?
Brief writing,

The Brief
  Explore 'LINE' through a variation of mediums in relation to architecture, looking at the geometrical element focusing on shape and line.

Considerations
  Think about construction, angles, architecture, scaffolding? Consider different ways of making a line, using different techniques ie. pens, paint, crayons, card, tape, light.

Background
  Mark making has many responses in art & design, the simple 'line' can be expressed in many forms, mediums and contexts. The most simple being pen to paper. The lines and angles found in different architectural forms are often particularly interesting, especially when represented artistically.


Mandatory Requirements
  Produce a sketchbook exploring 'line' and a final product. Look at different ways of presenting the final outcome rather that sticking to one way. Maybe look at books, posters etc.


Target Audience
  Architectural enthusiasts, Creatives, Peers.

Tone of voice
  Informal. A rather neutral tone of voice, not intending to convey humor or a serious message in any way.

Deliverables
  Sketchbook with research, experiments and findings.
