Experimenting with colour, the name cromo is translated from chrome and more effectively hints to the term chromatic and chromaticity both used to describe areas of colour. I thought about a spectrum style gradient throughout the word CROMO. I think it works quite well, particularly middle example below, the 4 colours and white flow well.

The examples using the less vibrant block colour below work well but maybe not as strong as the gradient examples.

Extending the colourful gradients into poster designs, working with random shapes and compositions, playing around getting a feeling for layout. I want to not replicate, but take heed from the nike advertisments I've been finding, working to a very crisp minimal style.
