Pac man scene



So as you can see from the video above, I've created the pong scene after pac man, but it's the transitional period before this happens that I need to sort out.

The storyboards here are all frames from when pacman finishes the dig dug level and the camera pans across with him.

They are are pretty self explanatory, but I'll further look at 2 of which I think I want to take forward.
In terms of gaining a little more diversity in the game references, pacman getting chased by a ghost or the space invader appearances are probably the two I'm going to roll with.

I like the idea of pacman getting chased by a ghost as at the moment his direction is rather random and not influenced by any dots to eat or characters to chase etc. On the other hand the appearance of the space invaders adds a completely new reference, which not only broadens the content but keeps the visual content more exciting.

I think I'm going to experiment further with this space invaders scene, incorporating their arrival into the use of 3d cameras. I want the middle one to look as though it's coming from the camera as tried to convey in the correlating storyboard to the left.
One of my earlier ideas was for pac man to come to the bottom left corner of the screen, tilt his head back, and start shooting dots out of his mouth, eventually filling up the screen, which then turns into space invaders with the addition of a little spaceship. My only problem here is that it doesn't incorporate the pong idea at the end, which is almost a necessity to include in my eyes.
