Since the video above, I faded the repeated intro sound aout slightly earlier, achieveing a much more relaxed fade out. The test above was okay and I think I'm going to stick with these samples, I just need to make sure it all flows. As I'm not creating a very experimental sequence, I need to rely on sounds to work as people would expect them to as if they were turning on an old console or booting up an old arcade machine. As I'm inegrating more and more sounds I feel the motion elements really coming alive.
