Although it wasn't an idea I initially wanted to run with, the Nike Spray Paint combination that came out of the randomizer could work extremely well, after a long thought process and jotting down my ideas on paper, I feel there is alot of scope for various areas of design for print.
I initially started to think about the physical packaging that is associated with spray paint, and how it could be packaged in obscure ways, especially given the relation ship with nike eg. paint coming in mini shoe boxes lined like a pair of shoes. Also the kind of simple glossy advertising that nike is regularly identified with would sit hand in hand with a spray paint company.
When it came to thinking about who my audience would consist of and why this company (Nike) would entertain such a radical product shift, I was rather stumped. Which made me really start thinking about the question, why would nike endorse such a project? Nike, alongside many other sport orientated companies tend to back events that can get them in the public lime light. Getting people interested in the event though the company or vice verca, effectively a massive, populated advertisment.
The Nike paint campaign could run a collaborative artistic event, promoting the launch of their new paint brand, creating a more specific, creative audience.
